Octopus Sundaes and a Dosage of Devil’s Blood

Okay. So I’m watching the travel channel and I just HAD to blog about it. So man vs food is on, and I would actually like to do the things this guy does.

In point pleasant NJ, he went to this ice cream shop. They make their own ice cream there. Have you ever seen a 5 scoop waffle cone? No? Go there(: Then, for the guy to eat, they made their octopus sundae. The octopus sundae consisted of 8 different large scoops of ice cream in a big dish. Each scoop was topped with something different. The ice cream was then topped with a whipped cream octopus. That there, my friend, is 3 lbs of ice cream!!!!

Now onto the ludicrous wings
(somewhere else in jersey). You could say that they are buffalo wings..just MUCH hotter! When the wings are made, to stick the flour to the wings, they don’t use water or eggs or that kind of stuff.. they use HOT SAUCE!!! So then they are drenched in the ludicrous sauce. What is ludicrous sauce you may ask? Oh just a basic hot sauce, cayenne pepper, habenero pepper, 2 secret ingredients, and concentrate of habenero pepper(its an extract). They call this habenero pepper extract “devil’s blood” because it is 400 times hotter than a jalapeno pepper!!! Now, you have to eat all 12 wings in 15 minutes to get a t-shirt and a place on wall. Only 4 people (including the guy on the show) have been able to eat all 12 in the 15 minutes given. Would YOU take the challenge?

Wow, that made me very hungry…Haha I now officially love this show and will probably watch it more often. You can email subscribe to my blog if you would like to see when I post updates.

Mood: tired
Watching: Man vs Food
Listening to: what ever my ipod decides to play during the commercials

About music12301

I am an avid reader and writer. I love to blog about just about anything in the world that I think of. My blogs can be completely random or well thought out and planned, but never the less, they are all my own. I also love to sing and act and music is a big part of my life. I played the flute for 6 years and I also played the piccolo when it was needed in band. I recently began learning how to play the oboe and I love it. I plan to go to college for music and theater.
