Everyone wants superpowers at some point, whether its super strength, invisibility, or x-ray vision. But have you ever thought about how many bad things powers like that would bring?
Say you have super strength and your hugging someone. How would you feel if you squeezed them to death? Or if you were brushing your teeth and stabbed the tooth brush through your cheek. Ouch!
I’m sure most of us have wanted to be invisible at times. If its to spy on someone, or just because we had a bad day and don’t want to be seen. On the other hand, if you were invisible, people would probably walk into you. You could also see and hear things you didn’t want to just because people wouldn’t think you were there. I mean, sure, we have all wanted to know if someone is talking about us badly or doing something behind our backs at some point in time, but if we were invisible and found out, life just wouldn’t be the way it is.
X-ray vision is an interesting thing. There are so many things that could be bad about this one. How awkward would it be if you couldn’t completely control the vision and you saw people with out their clothes? Wouldn’t you be devastated if you saw through a wall and witnessed the guy/girl you like making out with some other person?
Flying on the other hand, probably has more good things than bad things. But how long can you really make yourself fly? I mean, you would have to get tired at some point, or way too cold. But if everyone could fly, that would murder the aviation field. Since were in a recession already, I really don’t think we would do very good with all those people losing their jobs..
Well, that was really long. I should write an essay on superpowers(: haha well, feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or comment on here. Subscribe to email updates if you would like lol
