Yesterday I went to the doctor for my wrist. I had gone in the summer and I was told that it was mild carpal tunnel syndrome and to come back if it was getting a lot worse because then they would do some tests on it. I did make a blog about it then, so I’m not going to go fully into it now.
I saw a different doctor this time because the one I went to over the summer doesn’t work at that office anymore. The one I saw said that she isn’t completely sure that it’s carpal tunnel. She thinks that rather than my median nerve being compressed (which is carpal tunnel) it may be my ulnar nerve being compressed (is there a name for that?) so I have to make an appointment to get a nerve conduction test done somewhere about an half hour away or so.
Hopefully they can find out whats wrong with my wrist because I really don’t want to be in pain all the time. As for right now my doctor wants me taking two ibuprofen three times a day with food for a week. It hasn’t really done much for me, but she said after about the third day of this I will feel a lot better. I hope she is right.
If you have (or have had) similar problems or tests done let me know! I want to know what I’m in for. Either comment on here, or email me.
