R.I.P. Pen

Do you remember the post I made in October about my pen? The one that was supposed to last 7 years? Well today it died. Apparently, 7 years really means a few days short of 6 months.

I haven’t really been using the pen that often because I have been using a pen that writes in purple. Today I decided I wanted to use my black pen (the 7 year pen). I was filling in something and it just stopped writing.

I bought the pen on September 29, 2012. The pen ran dry on March 22, 2013. I wouldn’t suggest buying one of these pens and even though it wrote really nicely, I’m not going to buy another one for a few reasons.

First of all, I think the pen ran out because it was leaking a little bit. I unscrewed the top and there was ink leaking out where the pen tip meets the plastic holding the ink. This probably is the reason the pen didn’t last very long.

I also wont be repurchasing this pen because the pen tip came out of the pen on more than one occasion. I don’t remember exactly how it happened, but it did.

Lastly, I wont get another one because it didn’t last 7 years. It only lasted a little under 6 months. Like I said, I liked the way it wrote, but it died too fast.

About music12301

I am an avid reader and writer. I love to blog about just about anything in the world that I think of. My blogs can be completely random or well thought out and planned, but never the less, they are all my own. I also love to sing and act and music is a big part of my life. I played the flute for 6 years and I also played the piccolo when it was needed in band. I recently began learning how to play the oboe and I love it. I plan to go to college for music and theater.
